Conformance
This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test new templates against this standard before release, and run a quarterly automated and manual audit.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with descriptive headings and landmarks
- Skip-to-content links and keyboard-navigable menus
- Visible focus indicators across interactive elements
- Text contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against backgrounds
- Alt text for product photography and decorative images marked accordingly
- Forms with labelled inputs and clear error messages
Known issues
- The promotions carousel auto-advance has a six-second pause, which may be too short for some users. A static fallback is available in user-preference settings.
- Some legacy supplier datasheets are PDFs without proper tagging. We replace these as updated versions are received from manufacturers.
